Virtual tours

It has become essential for businesses and organizations nowadays to distinguish themselves in order to get the attention of their target audiences. What beter way to do this than with a virtual tour that allows location-based businesses to publicly show that what they have spent so much time and energy to create. Be it an ambient restaurant or lodge setting, a showroom or the stylish architecture of a newly developed house, this is what it is about and what draws customers. Thanks to immersive 360 degree photography technology, potential customers can virtually walk through your establishment on their computer or mobile device. Let a virtual tour convince your web site visitors and draw new customers and increase sales.

What is a virtual tour?

A virtual tour is a collection of 360 degree photographs taken at several different locations on your premises. In each of these 360 degree pictures the user can control the view by looking around in any direction, both vertically and horizontally. This gives them the feeling of actually being at the location itself, much like with Google Street View. The user can navigate to other locations in the virtual tour by selecting it from a drop down menu or by clicking on interactive hotspots in the image.

Tour enhancements

While a standard virtual tour is already a great way for your website visitors to view your premises, the tour can be expanded with a number of different elements that add user interaction and enhance the experience. Common elements used to enhance a virtual tour are:

Interactive hotspots

Increase user interaction in your tour by adding more interactive hotspots. Hotspots range from informational popups, close up pictures of specific elements to actually opening a door in the tour!

Integrated video

Do you have video screens in your premises? Why not make them interactive as well and play your promotional videos right in the tour? Guaranteed to impress your visitors.

Google Maps integration

For 360 degree images located far apart, Google Maps integration allows for easy navigation and adds reference based on the GPS coordinates of the images.

Social media integration

Spread the word! Get the most out of your virtual tour with integrated social media that allows visitors to share your tour on Facebook and Twitter as well as recommending it to friends by e-mail.

Background sounds or music

Create a great ambience in your tour by adding background sounds or music. The music can even come from a specific sound source allowing directional sound based on the users view.

Navigational map

A great reference and navigational tool for your virtual tour. Users can click on markers on a map/floor-plan that is overlayed in the viewer to navigate to different areas of your premises.

Google Analytics integration

Stay in the know with Google Analytics integration. Track how many times your virtual tour has ben viewed, from where and find out what images are most popular and what elements they click on most.

Company branding

Add the finishing touch to your virtual tour. Integrate your company logo & design in the viewer interface for a true professional presentation and great user experience.
