360 Blog

Greetings once again and welcome to the second post of our brand new blog!!!

You may know her as Miss Karun, the female vocalist with powerful and addictive choruses from Kenyan hip-hop super-group Camp Mulla, but nowadays, the 19 year old singing sensation, only goes by Karun.

Karun recently went solo, and with the help and creativity ofMotion Image and Sound  launched her debut album Sun & Moon via a series of highly entertaining webisodes chronicling her journey to solo stardom known as the LadyBug Project.

360tours was there to capture this awesome 360 degrees panorama during an UP Nairobi live event at the Nairobi Railway Museum. The panorama shows Karun and her band in full flow during her very first, live solo performance!

Virtual Tours are an innovative and creative way of capturing the true experience of live events. This unique virtual tour is equipped with enhancements including, embedded audio, video, and a still photography slideshow, displaying the range and versatility capable within 360 photography.

A clickable audio hotspot takes you the live version of track 5 on Sun & Moon ‘Backseat’ featuring another one of Kenya’s young, talented crooners Kagwe Mungai.   On the left of the panorama we have fantastic and expertly edited still photography from Magiq Lens Kenya

The third and final feature of this panorama is video shot by Motion Image and Sound Ltd

from one of the episodes of the LadyBug Project.

Sun & Moon is a two part album each with seven tracks compiled by super producer Jaaz Odongo. The Sun side represents Karun’s light hearted and youthful side with one highlight beingAi Yawa’ a funky afrobeat tune featuring Fena  and Kagwe Mungai. The Moonside of the record showcases her more mature, emotional side and is stocked withR&B, and soulful ballads including ‘Dream Awake’ an acoustic gem featuring the inimitable guitarist Kato Change

But don’t just take our word for it! head over to Itunes and Waabeh to purchase a song or the whole album, and support Kenyan musical talent.
